Police Drop In Morning 2nd Saturday of every month in the Pavilion from 10.00am to 12:00 noon. The purpose is to allow local people to have informal chats about relevant issues that may be of concern.

HELP FOR HEROES AND THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION August 28th, 29th and 30th from 12 noon A weekend of fundraising at The Duke, Bratton. Beer and Cider festival, Live music, BBQ, Face painting and Competitions.

Music Night in the Jubilee Hall 3rd Sept. 7.30 - 10.30. Five different musical acts including a progressive folk group, a flamenco guitarist, a blues band, acoustic duo "Seraph" and a guitarist playing a Harp guitar. Tickets are available from The Duke, The Post Office, or 3a Bury Lane,priced at £6.00 each.

Recreation Ground Quiz Night Saturday, 11th September 7.30pm at the Jubilee Hall £6 per person and includes a buffet supper. To enter a team of four, please telephone Mike Manson 830853

'Clean Up' Morning Saturday 25th September from 10am. Meeting at the Pavilion on the village green.

Bratton Reading Group Bratton Reading Group is composed of 7 local ladies who meet every 6 weeks on a Monday evening in each others houses to talk about a varied selection of books we have decided to read, based on recent reviews and the tastes of the members. Occasionally we take a trip out together to a literary event at a local library or theatre or visit an exhibition. Any lady wishing to join should contact: Susanne Pickup on 830037

National Garden Scheme Opening of private gardens in Bratton. Annually on the 1st Saturday and Sunday in June. Fund raising event for national nursing, caring and gardening charities. A pleasant way to visit local gardens, enjoy a cuppa for a few pounds and support some worthy causes. www.ngs.org.uk
