The annual pilgrimage from Bratton Village to Piquet Hill is an opportunity for reflection and worship as we remember the events that culminated in Jesus’ crucifixion.
We were blessed with beautiful weather as over 90 adults and children [with 11 dogs] took part in the 2011 pilgrimage. After meeting at the Church Institute for drinks and hot cross buns we set off to carry a large cross to the top of Piquet Hill, stopping along the way for Bible readings, prayer and praise. View the Service Sheet On the hilltop we erected the cross, and after a time of worship and reflection we were privileged to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation from this wonderful viewpoint.
